He’s baaaaaack! Baby Will is back on the blog with his nine month portraits. I love visiting Will and his mom every three months to document his first year. This time around he was sitting up by himself and even managed some assisted standing time. He’s not quite crawling but the hardwood floors provided and excellent surface for backwards scooting

These at home sessions are so perfect for little ones. You never have to go far for a new toy or favorite book. Changing outfits and diapers doesn’t require a trip to a stinky public bathroom and best of all, as a photographer, I spend a lot less time getting little ones to relax. When you’re in their home, they know their way around and feel so much safer. Plus, it’s a true reflection of the families style and decor. You don’t have to find a special room to hang those portraits with the tacky fake clouds and absurdly bright backdrops. I don’t force them into uncomfortable poses or stick them in giant props. Instead, I let them do what they do best, play and look cute. When I need a new angle, I move my body, not theirs. It makes for a pretty smooth and really fun experience for me, mom and baby.
So, what do you think internet? Baby Will looks pretty darn cute, don’t you think?
