Barajas Family | Portraits in the Park

My brain already thinks it’s winter. It’s cold, I have to scrape ice off my car every morning, and this weekend I saw our first Seattle snow fall. It only lasted for about 30 seconds but it was beautiful. Technically, winter doesn’t start for a couple more weeks though which is fine by me because Fall is still my favorite season. The Barajas family chose Lincoln Park in West Seattle for their session and I was thrilled when they showed up in Fall colors and to find the park blanketed in fallen crunchy leaves. What you don’t see is me bundled up in a pea coat, wool socks, tall boots and a hat pulled snug over my ears while these troopers braved the frosty air. Bless their hearts…they even look happy about it.

I’ll admit, it was a challenge not to squeeze Emery’s chubby baby cheeks. He gave me eyelash envy too!

Who can resist a pile of leaves like that? Not the Barajas! They jumped in full force. Jonathan practically begged to be tossed into the pile!

Now it’s time to check out the slide show to see the rest of their session…

renee @ FIMBY - oh my goodness, that baby in that suit jacket. How did you not literally kiss him to death!

Jamie - Trust me…it took ALL my restraint!
