This is the love story of Sandra & Brian. Last summer while I was photographing newlyweds Jessie & Tanner, Sandra & Brian’s love story was just beginning. You see, Jessie’s mom, Sandra, was single and found herself with a pair of tickets to a Lonestar concert…and no one to go with. Jessie and her best friend Ashley suggested she call Ashley’s dad, Brian. They had known each other from a distance for seven years and it wasn’t the first time these girls had tried to be matchmakers in this department. Every other time had been unsuccessful and this could have been just another one of those times — but this time was different. Maybe it was warm summer breeze. Maybe it was the wedding buzz from Jessie and Tanner. Maybe it was their common interest in good ol’ country music. This time she asked. This time he accepted. They had a blast and kept seeing each other! They took walks together up Little Mountain in Mount Vernon everyday after work and it didn’t take them long for them to see what their daughters saw…a good match and a couple destined to fall in love. Just a few months after that first date, they made it official with the blessings of their children in a small home ceremony. The rain stopped for a few minutes so we could take some pictures outside and then we defrosted inside their warm home lit by candles and soft lights. The whole evening was beautiful and flawless and no one could be bigger fans of the event than best friends — now sisters — Jessie and Ashley. Good work girls!
