Jojie and I have been talking about this session since early last summer but she’s been dreaming about it for years. Jojie is a powerful woman with a strong voice, fiery personality and a whole lot of passion. She’s been working on her CD, “Evolution: Songs From My Soul” for years now and all the final pieces are finally falling into place. This is a very exciting time for her to say the least! When we finally met up earlier this week it didn’t matter that it was a freezing cold and raining November day. It didn’t matter that she came straight from work and probably needed a nap. It didn’t even matter that she had to climb a slippery hill in heels to get to our desired location. We ignored the no trespassing signs and took our chances on the tracks. She posed like a pro taking little direction from me and for the next 45mins we jammed to the click click click of my shutter until we were spent, overjoyed and I left her in tears…of excitement and happiness of course. This is her moment; her dream coming true. Jojie is one step closer to getting that CD in the hands of eager ears!
