When I take your portraits I want you to see FUN in the photographs. I want you to remember the belly aching laughter. I want your eyes to well up with emotions and goosebumps to scamper up your arms. I want you to remember giggling about stinky feet and the way I contorted your body into origami-like figurines and promised you it looked good. I want to find “THE FUNNEST FAMILY” and give them this experience for FREE!
After all, it’s my one year blogiversary this month and I want to make it really special by doing what I really love. It’s a giveaway, for sure, but you’re going to have to work for this one. I’ve assembled a panel of 5 judges ranging from ages 23-46. Some of them have children; some of them don’t. Some of them live here in Washington; some of them don’t. Our mission is to choose “The Funnest Family” based on your recommendations. Are you that family? Do you know that family?
All you have to do is tell us why you or someone you know belongs to “The Funnest Family” and how you/they will rock this session…hard. I encourage you to submit your nominations in the comments but I will also accept them via email at jamieneilsen{at}gmail{dot}com. Of course, in order to qualify, this must be your first experience with Jamie Neilsen Photography and the session must take place within 25 miles of Seattle. Oh, and you can’t be related to me in any way.
We’re looking for a family who jumps on beds and plays mini golf; who eats ice-cream and laughs till it hurts; who shares inside jokes and wears matching shirts; who does tricks on command and sings out loud…real loud. And above all, we’re looking for a family that would really benefit from this gift.
Your assignment, should choose to accept it, is to nominate this family by Sunday, October 18th. “The Funnest Family” will be announced on Tuesday, October 20th (my official blogiversary) and their custom portrait session will take place at a mutually convenient time before November 30, 2009.
