Today is noticeably different. I put on socks and a jacket and although the backdoor is still wide open letting in a fresh breeze and bright sunshine, my hands are grasped tightly around a warm cup of tea or furiously typing just to keep from shivering. Yes, the season has changed and the light is slipping away. A new wardrobe is creeping closer to the front of the closet with sweaters and scarfs in tow. The flip-flops are no longer useful and are buried somewhere beneath high heeled boots and colorful wellies. Yes, indeed, the season has changed. So, perhaps the beach sessions will be less common these days but families like this one here know how to rock out a Fall session! We spent some time in their backyard hitting golf balls and baseballs, kicking soccer balls and strumming a tune on the ukulele. We ran and squealed and laughed with our whole bodies! We chased roosters and ducks around the pond at the Country Village and captured all the events on my eager camera. We truly had fun…and I’ve got the pictures to prove it!
