I can’t believe it’s been two years! Last weekend we celebrated the two year anniversary of my nephews, Tylen and Tielor’s, birth. The boys were a few months old when they first met and they’ve been brothers ever since.It’s funny to think that they were born on the same day in the same hospital just hours apart and with such similary unusual names.
I think they were pretty confused at what all the fuss was about but once we got some sugar in them, it was game on!
They each got their own cakes and their own presents to open – although everything will end up being shared anyway. One of their favorite gifts was a combined effort from the Aunties and Uncles. How cool is this bike? The boys LOVE bikes. Tylen points them out whenever he sees one and has been known to try and steal other kids bikes at the park. The coolest thing about this toddler bike from Strider Sports is that it has no pedals, no training wheels and it’s less than seven pounds! The boys weighed more than that when they were born.
The idea is to teach them balance and confidence while learning to steer and not having to learn the tricky art of pedaling. They simply scoot with their feet and gliiide!
They went bonkers over it and in no time at all they were walking that bike all over the place!
There’s also a place along the side of the frame where they can kick their feet up and rest them on a bar while they’re gliding or being pushed around by daddy.
