Sage | One Year

What are little girls made of?

Sugar and spice and everything nice.

That’s what little girls are made of.

This little darling lives up to her name…and I want to clone her cuteness!

Sage got to wear some great outfits during our session. Two of her dresses once belonged to her grandma. She’s already rockin’ an awesome vintage wardrobe! Combine that with her beautiful eyes and honest smile and you’ve got a heart-breaker in the making.

Sage has so much personality for a one year old. I captured so many expressions! She really hammed it up for the camera. Happy, reflective, captivated, tickled pink and peaceful are just some of the faces I watched her wear.

One of my favorite things about photographing toddlers is following them around as they explore their surroundings. Everything is new and exciting! I love to get down on their level and see the world as they see it.

There’s just no point in trying to make them sit and be still while I take their picture. It’s so much more fun to cruise around with them and watch precious moments unfold.

Sage’s mommy picked a great location on Edmonds Beach for our session. There were so many great places to photograph and explore. The setting sunlight was icing on the cake for a picture perfect day.

It was so hard to pick just a few to post here on the blog. Promise me you’ll take a minute to check out her slide show! The whole session is just gorgeous and makes me giddy each time I watch it.

Thanks again for the opportunity to photography your beautiful baby, Stephanie and Gabe! I can’t wait to do your family portraits this fall!
