I Work With These People | 2 Weeks To Go

Today is the beginning of my last two weeks with these folks. Friday, August 21st is officially my last day! Luckily, they like me enough to take me back in December. I’m gonna miss them during these next few months!

We had a little party a couple weeks ago which involved copious amounts of wine and cheese in hundred degree weather. It was awesome! I think the kiddie pool saved me from passing out. Frankly, I’m impressed that so many of these pictures turned out. After several glasses of wine in that kind of heat it I was a hot, sweaty mess. My camera barely stayed still between my slippery hands.

Katheryn, I’m going to miss our chats…and Casey’s flowers. I imagine we’ll need a really long tea break to catch up when I come back!

I don’t know who invited the guy in this next picture…oh, wait, that’s my boss! I’m definitely going to miss him…potty mouth and all. He’s always got my back and it has been a real pleasure to support him this past year.

Note to my replacement: keep sugary snacks on hand for these two! This is very important;)

Thank you WWLP-LCA for a great year! I’ve never supported a better group of people. Each one of you are truly impressive individuals that make up quite a powerhouse when you’re all together. Be good while I’m gone, don’t let Sherman kill my fish, and remember who to call when you’re ready to do your family holiday portraits!

Oh, and check out the slide show to see more of our drunken morale event!

renee @ FIMBY - Why are you leaving? Are you going to be doing more photography? You work with some great people if they are willing to have their photos on your blog!! Great shots by the way. You have such a great eye Jamie – for real life moments, not photoshopped to death.

Jamie - Hi Renee! I’ve been working for them “on contract” for the last year and according to my contract I have to leave the company for 100 days before I can return on a new contract.

Part of me is excited for the forced break away from the corporate world so I can spend more time on my photography and growing my business. There just haven’t been enough hours in the day to do both!

Thanks for your kind words about my phptography. I really love what I do.

renee @ FIMBY - Cool. Well enjoy your break and I hope you can make the most of it to grow your photography business.

Bridgette - Hello Jumping Jamie, these photo’s are great. I am going to pass on your name to my friend in Seattle, that way if she and her cop husband want some potraits they know who to get a hold of. Good luck with your forced break. It should be nice for you.
