Weekend Rewind

I had a busy weekend full of photo shoots and family time. My uncle graduated from the University of Washington with an engineering degree and we had a nice celebration for him at grandma’s house. My nephews were there too and I was shocked at how much little Sawyer has grown in the last few weeks. He makes the cutest little squeaks and is such a chill baby. I’m going to have to do another session with him real soon to show off all his new tricks and hopefully get some shots of him with his older brothers.

I also met James this weekend. He’s home from college for the summer and at his mom’s request he allowed me to take some pictures. We got some really great shots and he was such a good sport. I’ll be sharing more from his session later this week so stay tuned for that.

Sunday I wrapped up the weekend with Matt & Cora who are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks. Cora is simply gorgeous and incredibly photogenic. I’ll be working on their pictures this week too and should have a slide show to share by the end of the week.

This week I’m looking forward to photographing an event planner with her girlfriend and dogs, a family of five at a park I’ve been dying to shoot at ever since I discovered it a couple months ago, and professional/business shots for a gorgeous lawyer who also happens to be my bosses wife. It’s going to be a very busy week!

I’m so glad I made time for a pedicure on Saturday. My toenails are now a happy fuschia color and they look awesome against my new silver sandals. Even with the cloud cover this morning I couldn’t bare to cover them up with socks and shoes. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for sun breaks by lunch time!

What fun adventures did you have this weekend?

georgia - sawyer is such a cute name! and he is such a cute baby—so fitting for the name.

i could use a pedicure. my feet are so dry. ughhhh. oh, to have my young skin back—when i did not need pedicures to make my feet look pretty. it’s hard to justify getting pedicures as much as i need to when i’m unemployed.
:)
