Gimley | West Highland Terrier

He’s a lover. He’s a snuggler. He’s Gimley the lap dog! This is my friend Johanna’s son pup. At two years old he was rescued from the pound and off to his third and final home. He has the sweetest eyes and coolest temperament. It’s baffling why his last two homes didn’t want him. Isn’t he the cutest thing?

This weekend we broke down and bought a new Mac Book so we’re finally back to a two computer home. Now I won’t have to feel guilty for hogging the computer anymore! Tomorrow I have a very exciting photo session with two of my favorite ladies. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. It went from 90 degrees to 60 degrees practically overnight and the clouds look threateningly dark. Fingers crossed….

Johanna - Awww he’s such a sweet little gentleman. He needs a bath/groom!

Johanna - This is the first time I’ve ever had a westie…or a dog of my own really…and he’s very chill most of the time, but he loves his toys… Unfortunately the vet agreed with me right away when I told him I thought he had been abused previously….breaks me heart…… I hate to say it…but maybe that is why he’s more “chill”……

georgia - oh my oh my oh my!

he is just too cute. that last picture is so adorable—it’s the kind of pose they model stuffed animals after. he is so cute there, he almost looks face.

oh, those eyes. i have been seeing so many cute pictures of dogs lately. this is not an exception! it’s so nice to see you photograph an animal for a change—not that i am tired of your people pictures. it’s just that you are clearly good with both. and some people {like me} who don’t have kids, i could see wanting their pets photographed and displayed on their walls just as they would with kids. i know if i had a pet, i would. i so want a doggie.

you should have seen my friend’s little charcoal lab in nashville. he was the cutest puppy i have ever seen. so envious! even my sister’s little rat {chihuahua} i would love to have. i’ve tried taking some cute pictures of him, but the little bugger never stays still long enough!

you were able to capture some really sweet moments and poses with this guy. i love his name. he almost looks like a “gus” to me. either way, he’s precious. great job, miss jamie!
