The husband and I traveled to Portland for the holiday weekend. It’s not a very different city from Seattle but sometimes even a slight change of environment can be really refreshing. The four hour train ride to and from was soothing and gorgeous. The weather was perfect for lazing around parks and reading books in the sun. We walked and walked and walked and talked and talked and talked. It’s all a bit of a blur – kinda like this attempt at a panning shot of a cyclist along the waterfront.
Coming up later this week I’ll have more stories and pictures from Portland, a peek at some family portraits I shot last Friday, and depending on my work flow, some gorgeous photos of a newborn baby girl that I’ll be photographing later today!
