You know what gets me? Unnecessary, overly complicated packaging. Let me explain.
Over the weekend I felt child proofed out of several new purchases. Why is it so necessary to wrap DVD’s so tightly behind the clear unnecessary plastic wrap? I seriously must have spent a good ten minutes trying to unwrap it before I took a knife to it. Yes, I probably should have done this in the first place but for some reason I still always think that this is going to be the time…this is when I set a new record for opening this damn plastic and this time it’s not going to be hard.
I understand that for you thieves out there, this IS necessary…but after you buy it you should be able to access it yes? Grrr. My frustrations don’t end there either.
My sister came over this weekend to play games. She bought a new game to spice things up. When we opened the box…EVERYTHING was unnecessarily wrapped in that damn clear plastic. I spent several minutes popping out little cardboard chips from their cardboard stencil while my sister spent just as much time trying to unwrap the clear plastic that was holding the cards hostage. We sat there wondering WHY!? Please tell me why.
Saturday Jamie and I went to a Thai restaurant for lunch (which was delish) and got little peppermints with our check. You know what? They were tightly wrapped up and it took several attempts and eventually teeth to get to the candy.
Please stop the insanity!!
I feel better now. At least until I buy another new movie.
