“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – Buddha
It’s Thanksgiving so naturally I’m reflecting on all that I’m thankful for. But as I sit here to write this I find myself with more and more questions. Should I write them all down? Should I make a list? How long should the list be? If I only say 10 things will someone think that’s not enough? If I write 20 things will anyone actually read it? If I say the same old cliche things does it mean anything less?
No.
Thankfully, I’m thankful everyday. I thank my baristas for every cup. I thank the bus driver that gets me there. I thank the server that brings my food. I thank my boss and all my co-workers. I thank my husband and family and friends. I thank the guy that lets me go first. I thank the gal who gave me a compliment. I thank my bloggy friends and flickr friends and myspace friends.
I thank you all for all that you’ve done and all that you’ll do.
Thank you! Every day.
