HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Turns out, my husband is a pretty great pumpkin carver! These are a few of the pumpkins that grew in our backyard this year. It was quite a surprise to see them pop up as we didn’t intentionally plant them. They grew in an area where we had a compost pile going under a big tree. The tree was cut down and the compost pile moved and low and behold a pumpkin patch grew.
Tonight we’re taking the “lil monster” (aka my nephew) out for trick-or-treating. Then, it’s off to the grown-ups party! We’re dressing up as a gunslinger and saloon girl. It should be a hoot!
For those of you staying at home to hand out candy tonight, why not also use the time to fill out your absentee/mail in ballots? And for you poll voters, how about studying that election guide so you’re prepared on Tuesday?
Remember, democracy is not a spectator sport. Game on!
